Bilinguisme

Our mission at the INTERNATIONAL BILINGUAL SCHOOLS is to enable our students to have a stimulating and learning environment and multicultural academic programs in both French and English. A tailored education, planned and careful monitored which allows each individual student whether French speaking or not, to attend our schools. We think this prepares children for a successful future.  We feel becoming bilingual is not only communicating a different language but also understanding its' cultural heritage. All our teachers are graduates and provide classes in their mother tongue. SO IN A CLIMATE OF FOSTERING BILINGUALISM, children learn English in a natural way, by the immersion method, supported by qualified teachers. We provide a differentiation which favors INTEGRATION AND IMMERSION. The immersion programme is started in the youngest class (age 2) as part of the organisation of the 50/50 French / English curriculum. BEGINNERS IN FRENCH OR ENGLISH : Students who do not practice French or English are also welcome. The ENGLIH CURRICULUM offered by the schools is supported by the Jolly Phonics materials. The FRENCH CURRICULUM is identical to that followed in French schools. They work in harmony on projects to strengthen activement within the institution. Educational standards are high of this.
